All data is backed-up daily and continual access is enhanced through the use of redundant storage network technology.

Security, Payments & Passwords

• Information is encrypted using enhanced SSL when transmitted and is stored on a secure PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Digital Security Standards) compliant web server at a high-security, enterprise-level hosting company.

• Credit / Debit Card payments are made directly to the payment processor through a secure payment portal. Worldwide Pet Care never has access to the user’s credit card information. Credit Card information is stored separately, at the secure PCI DSS compliant payment processor.

• Worldwide Pet Care has been validated as compliant by SysNet, a leader in PCI DSS. All hosting is supported by high-security firewalls.

• Worldwide Pet Care does not ask its pet-parent(s) for their personal identifiers such as date-of-birth, driver’s license or social security numbers nor does Worldwide Pet Care store credit card numbers. Hackers cannot benefit from attacking Worldwide Pet Care.

• Each user’s password is encrypted when stored on the server and is known only to the pet-parent(s). Information disclosure prevention and data compromise procedures are in place.

• Worldwide Pet Care provides the option for users to exclude their physical address from the profile information the veterinarian and caretakers see. This feature is for those that don’t want to divulge this information.

Privacy and Personal Information

• Worldwide Pet Care will not sell or share customer demographics with third parties.

• Worldwide Pet Care may use general member demographics and statistics for its own marketing purposes.

• Worldwide Pet Care is given permission by way of its Terms and Conditions to display pet-parent(s) and pet information and for this information to be passed to all concerned parties.

Personal & Pet Information

Each user acknowledges that:

• The Worldwide Pet Care Service is primarily intended to assist pet-parent(s), veterinarians, sitters, groomers, kennels, walkers, and caretakers.

• The Worldwide Pet Care Service is not guaranteed to provide any given healthcare result(s).

• Those viewing the pet’s information have the pet-parent’s permission.

• The responsibility for the accuracy of information is the sole responsibility of the pet-parent(s) or pet-guardian.

• Worldwide Pet Care personnel are not legally-permissioned to modify user-entered information

• The Worldwide Pet Care website and mobile applications act only to facilitate the presentation of pet information that is provided by the pet-parent(s) or pet-guardian.
